Reflecting on these last few months has shown me a few key things.
Firstly, when left unchecked, I can forget how strong I am. I have the ability to endure more than I give myself credit for.
Second, scorned women will continue to be scorned until you give them reason not to be. Unfortunately, I’m not willing to sacrifice my personal respect and dignity to do so.
Third, when I have a vessel that I value and can pour my emotions and efforts into, it keeps me focused. It also keeps me aware of my persona and character. Those are all necessary as I continue to grow and mature.
